Catacombs
On our honeymoon to Paris I got to visit the catacombs. Basically, it's a deep dark dungeon with lots of bones. That's an oversimplification on a grand scale but the point is that it's really cool. I didn't get as many pictures as I'd like but the few snaps I shot will give you an idea of what it's like. If you're in Paris you should definitely check it out. Thanks to Katie for letting me go to a less than romantic spot on our honeymoon. Thanks honey!
Wedding Ceremony
Here are the pictures from the wedding ceremony. There are a lot but they are all so good that I couldn't whittle it down anymore. Katie and I had a great time and we are very grateful for everybody that made it and everybody that couldn't.
Wedding Rehearsal
Here are the pics from the wedding rehearsal. What a beautiful day! Katie and I are very grateful to everyone that helped make our wedding day perfect!
Paris 2007
Here are the pictures from me and Katie's Paris trip. We had a blast and saw a ton of things. We definitely could have used a few more days to see everything we were trying to fit in.
Vienna 2007
Here are the pictures from our Vienna trip. Vienna has some great architecture and if you get the chance I'd definitely recommend visiting. Try and stay away from ordering cola from the cafes though. At one cafe the cola set us back six euros per!
New York 2007
Katie and I's trip to New York City. It was an amazing trip! We stayed in a great hotel called Hotel Mela. Mela means apple in italian.
Rik and Angela's Wedding
Pictures from Rik and Angela's wedding dinner. In case you can't tell the scarf that's mounted in the picture frame is a scarf that Elvis Presley wore at one of his last concerts. My mom gave it to the happy couple as a wedding gift. The stains are from sweat and make up. Yes, Elvis wore make up.
The Barkley Rocket Unveiling
Since Barkley moved into the old TWA world headquarters they decided to recreate the rocket that once adorned this building. These pictures are of the unveiling of that rocket.
KaBOOM! Playground Build
Ever build a ginormous playground? I have. And I took pictures to prove it. Cameron and I helped build this playground for kids. It was organized by KaBOOM!. You can see in the pictures how it goes from nothing to a complete playground in the span of one day. Cameron and I ended up mixing Quikrete all day! Hard work for guys who spend most of their time working with their fingers.
Guatemala Trip May 2006
Since the building that we were supposed to build on the first trip didn't make it through customs I decided to go on the next trip where we were able to actually build the community center. We put an entire building up in four days thanks to many people from the US and men from the village where the community center was being built. It was a great chance to work alongside the Guatemalan people and accomplish something that will stand for many years.
Guatemala Trip March 2006
The trip that was nearly a disaster turned out to be one of the best trips of my life. There really is nothing like serving others. We had planned on building a community center for a small village, but instead ended up repainting their school. It was a wonderful trip, but don't take my word for it. Check out the pictures.
Float Trip 2004
Pictures from the float trip we took over the Fourth of July in 2004. It was a lot of fun and the campground was nearly empty because they had received so much rainfall the days before we showed up. We nearly had the river to ourselves.
My Infiniti G35
This is my favorite car of all times. Most cars I get bored with within a couple of months, but not the G35. It's four years old and it's still a blast to drive and it still gets compliments.
